You'll need:

• Five large wooden chopsticks or dowels
• String or yarn
• Cardboard
• Paint, markers, or crayons
• Science book with pictures of planets and comets

Using pictures in a science book as a guide, or your own imagination, draw six pictures of planets, stars, comets, and maybe the sun on the cardboard. Make the pictures all about the same size. Cut them out, and draw the same pictures again on the backs. Using a paper punch, make holes at the tops. Look at the picture at the top of this page and put together the strings, chopsticks, and pictures so they balance nicely. Hang your finished mobile up on the ceiling.
